Anchor Orthodontics is an independent, doctor-owned practice offering complete orthodontic care at our Providence and Wakefield, RI offices. From a child's first evaluation at age 7 to adult treatment planned alongside cosmetic and restorative work, every plan is built by Dr. Courtney Lavigne, a board-certified orthodontist who is also an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a distinction held by fewer than 1% of dentists worldwide.

Both offices use iCAT CBCT 3D imaging for precise, low-radiation diagnostics, and we coordinate with your dentist, pediatrician, ENT, or myofunctional therapist whenever it helps. One practice, two locations, no referral needed. Book a consultation.
Everything from records to retention: photos and iCAT CBCT 3D imaging, a custom treatment plan, your appliance (braces or aligners), all adjustment visits, and retainers with follow-up to protect the result. One fee, no surprise add-ons, at either our Providence or Wakefield office.
Most cases finish in 12 to 24 months depending on complexity. Custom appliances like LightForce and well-planned aligner treatment can shorten that range for many patients. You will get a specific estimate at your consultation.

Board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics is voluntary and requires an orthodontist to present treated cases for examination by their peers. It is an extra layer of accountability that not every orthodontist pursues. Dr. Lavigne is board certified and holds AAACD accreditation on the cosmetic side as well. Dr. Cardarelli earned her DMD, orthodontic certificate, and Master of Dental Science at the University of Connecticut, where she served as Chief Resident.
