Dr. Courtney Lavigne is a board-certified orthodontist and an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AAACD), a distinction held by fewer than 1% of dentists worldwide. She is the only practitioner in the United States who holds both. After a decade practicing cosmetic and restorative dentistry, she completed her orthodontic residency at Tufts, so the smiles she designs are built to be beautiful and functionally stable for decades to come.
Dr. Lavigne practices alongside Dr. Lauren Cardarelli, a UConn-trained orthodontist, at both our Providence and Wakefield offices. From digital scans to 3D-printed LightForce braces, Invisalign, and custom clear aligners, every plan is tailored to your anatomy and lifestyle, whether you're 7 or 70.
We recommend every child get an orthodontic evaluation by age 7. Most kids don't need early treatment, and if yours doesn't, we'll tell you. When treatment is the right call, early intervention at the right moment makes everything that follows simpler. Kids' consultations are always free, and no referral is needed.
