Dr. Lauren Cardarelli

Dr. Lauren Cardarelli is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned her D.M.D., Orthodontic Certificate, and Master of Dental Science while serving as Chief Resident during her training. In the clinic, she is proficient with a wide range of advanced customized digital technologies. Her clinical training includes comprehensive experience with clear aligners, customized braces, various orthodontic appliances, and temporary anchorage devices (TADs) including MARPE. 

Dr. Cardarelli's passion for research has led to multiple national awards and presentations recognizing her contributions to three dimensional imaging in the field of orthodontics and dentistry. Her master's thesis and other published work focuses on CBCT-based bone density analysis and treatment outcomes as well as studies of the role of A.I. in orthodontics and CBCT-guided treatment planning.

Dr. Cardarelli is a native of Rhode Island, and attended high school at LaSalle Academy, earning honors as a Track & Field All-American. Committed to advancing her academic foundation, she completed post-baccalaureate coursework in the biomedical sciences at Harvard University prior to earning her doctorate and completing her orthodontic training at UConn.

In her free time she enjoys running, biking, hiking, and trying new restaurants with her husband, family & friends!
